The Triple Stitch™ returns in Spring Summer 2026 in its most refined iteration, in SECONDSKIN nubuck, reinforcing its status as a ZEGNA global icon. It fits seamlessly within the Trivero chapter of the campaign, which explores naturalistic elements, lightness, and textural depth. The campaign is set in the Giardino dei Porcinai, a quiet garden realised by visionary architect Pietro Porcinai. Known also as the Winter Garden, it’s a place where balance lives in nature and architecture, a retreat in which to find contemplation, stillness and privacy, and the authentic way of northern Italian living.

Triple Stitch™ is representative of this lifestyle: with its signature triple-crossed elastic detail (a nod to hand-tailored stitching), the shoe embodies mobility, craft, and timelessness. The new SECONDSKIN version enhances this with a soft finish that complements the campaign’s naturalistic setting and organic transitions.

Triple Stitch ™ is technically a sneaker, yet it transcends that definition. It is a leisurewear shoe that combines the ease and versatility of leisurewear with the refinement and elegance of fine footwear. Since its first redesign, Triple Stitch™ has been continually refined, becoming lighter, softer, and more comfortable through technical improvements and artisanal research.

Triple Stitch™ is not limited to one model but rather represents a full branded footwear family within ZEGNA. It is reinterpreted every season with new materials such as SECONDSKIN, deerskin and suede, while retaining its instantly recognisable detail and light construction.

The SECONDSKIN nubuck version is unique for its high-quality grain leather, which makes the leather exceptionally soft and supple while adding a textural richness that ensures a pleasant fit. The velvety look and softness are obtained by a very specific sanding process that makes this leather unique. Every pair is revised individually by artisans, resulting in subtle differences that enhance its exclusivity. The combination of glove-like fit, refined finish, and artisanal craftsmanship elevates it above other variations.

The Triple Stitch™ SECONDSKIN nubuck is engineered as a deconstructed slip-on shoe that achieves a glove-like fit by pairing an ultra-soft, nubuck-treated calf-leather upper with the lightest possible internal components. Its construction balances flexibility and support through a minimal toe counter, a Strobel insole, and a pared-back lining – all calibrated specifically for SECONDSKIN nubuck, so the shoe moves naturally with the foot. Pattern placement on each hide is carefully analysed before cutting to optimise yield and preserve the leather’s character, and because the leather is exceptionally thin, precision machine cutting is used to ensure accuracy.

The Triple Stitch™ is an everyday shoe; however, it should be noted that, due to the delicate nature of the leather with which they are produced, in extreme weather conditions the perfect options are Triple Stitch™ Monte and Vetta.
Please see below the cleaning and care instructions for each material type:

For leather (Calfskin / Woven Leather / Smooth Leather)

• Clean the shoes with a soft cloth.
• Avoid contact with water, oily or alcoholic substances (perfumes, solvents, etc.), and any abrasive products.
• For lighter leathers, avoid repeated contact with dark fabrics to prevent staining.
• In case of contact with water, allow the shoes to dry completely before cleaning.
• Protect from prolonged exposure to natural or artificial light.
• Alternate wearing the shoes to allow rest time.
• Insert shoe trees or paper to maintain the shape.
• Clean the rubber sole with a product specifically designed for this.
• Store the shoes in the provided fabric bags in a cool, dry place.
• Recommended: use the exclusive ZEGNA Care Kit.

For leather + patina

• Clean with a soft cloth.
• Apply a small amount of polish to maintain the leather’s shine; let dry, then buff vigorously with a soft, clean cloth.
• Avoid alcohol, water, and abrasive products (including hard-bristle brushes).
• Same recommendations as above for drying, light exposure, and storage.
• Recommended: use the exclusive ZEGNA Care Kit.

For suede

• Gently clean with a suede brush or a soft, dry sponge following the direction of the fibres.
• Avoid contact with water, oils, alcohol, and abrasive products.
• Allow the shoes to dry completely if they become wet before cleaning.
• For lighter colors, avoid repeated contact with dark fabrics.
• Protect from prolonged exposure to natural or artificial light.
• Clean the rubber sole with a specific rubber-cleaning product.
• Maintain shape with shoe trees or paper, alternate use, and store in the provided fabric bags.
• Recommended: use the exclusive ZEGNA Care Kit.

For suede + alligator (Partial / Mixed Materials)

• Alligator parts: clean with a soft cloth.
• Suede or nubuck parts: use a very soft bristle brush or a dry sponge, following the direction of the fibres.
• Avoid alcohol, oils, water, and abrasive products.
• Allow to dry completely if wet.
• Protect from light exposure and contact with dark fabrics.
• Clean the rubber sole with a product designed for rubber.
• Maintain shape, alternate use, and store in fabric bags.

For mixed leather and suede (Triple Stitch Monte/Triple Stitch Vetta)

• Smooth leather parts: clean with a soft cloth.
• Suede parts: clean with a dedicated suede brush or a dry sponge.
• Avoid alcohol, water, and abrasive products.
• Allow to dry completely before cleaning.
• Protect from prolonged light exposure and dark fabrics.
• Clean the rubber sole with a dedicated rubber cleaner.
• Alternate use, maintain shape, and store in fabric bags.
• Recommended: use the exclusive ZEGNA Care Kit.

For Espadrilles (Suede)

• Gently clean with a suede brush or a soft, dry sponge following the direction of the fibres.
• Avoid contact with substances containing alcohol (perfumes, solvents, etc.) and abrasive products.
• If in contact with water, allow to dry completely before cleaning.
• Protect from light and humidity.
• Store in fabric bags in a cool, dry place.
• Recommended: use the exclusive ZEGNA Care Kit.

For Espadrilles (Fabric / Calfskin / Woven Leather)

• Clean with a soft cloth.
• Avoid contact with water, alcohol, or abrasive products.
• Allow to dry completely if wet.
• Store in fabric bags in a cool, dry place.
• Recommended: use the exclusive ZEGNA Care Kit.

For ZEGNA x NORDA

• Hand-wash with mild soap and cold water.
• Remove the insoles, wash them separately, and air dry.
• Do not use hot water, tumble dryers, or expose to high heat sources.
• Let them dry naturally, away from direct heat or intense light.

All Triple Stitch™ shoes are made in Italy. ZEGNA’s skilled artisans oversee every stage of the process, from the meticulous cutting of leather to the careful assembly and hand-finishing, ensuring the highest levels of quality and authenticity.

Craftsmanship can be found at all stages of creating the Triple Stitch™ shoes. All details on the shoe are carefully hand-stitched and applied manually as well as being revised by our artisans. Each step, from the leather to the final finishing touch, is carefully checked by a Quality Manager to make sure that each shoe lives up to ZEGNA standards.
